Over the past 33 years, W.R. Rodrigo & Co., has been a trusted advisor for a large pool of clients across many sectors such as construction, hospitality, agriculture, real estate, manufacturing, fishery, information technology, and local trading. Correspondingly, W.R. Rodrigo & Co. is among the leading professional service networks in Sri Lanka with the acquaintance. The requirement was to re-design the W.R. Rodrigo & Co. brand to appeal to contemporary entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
Our challenge was to make the brand visible in the industry as a strong, stable organization with expertise with the new brand look and feel.
We made W.R.Rodrigo & Co. tell a unique story and have a unique position in the market. The corporate identity defines the strength, stability, sharpness and energy within the organization. We used blue and Silver as the primary colour palette to give the expression of the future and confidence for their target audience. The unique selection of typography – WalkWay further enhanced the sleek and clean look of the brand.
Setting the standards
The refreshed WRR brand relies on a strong visual language with a good foundation. Words and graphics we used with the mix of triangles/hexagons as a whole in a changing array of messages. But the triangles and the brand supporting it remain constant—a visual metaphor illustrating WRR’s position underlying the market.
Our strategic brand development and communication was effective. They could establish the first Colombo branch within the first 6 months of the launch and extend to the Maldives within 2 years of the launch.
